Welcome to TCAS2 v3.0, a FREE to use and distribute stand-alone plugin for Microsoft Flight Simulator.
The algorithms are based on TCAS 2, version 7, as outlined by FAA Guidelines (Also known as ACAS in Europe).
This display will detect and warn against airborne A.I. intruder traffic via visual and verbal feedback.
It is a popular download on several flight simulator enthusiast websites!
Unique features include:
1) A traffic tracking option that colour codes traffic symbols based on all or part of their tail numbers.
2) Two additional experimental radar display formats to choose from:
a) Regular TCAS nmi radar format with added loss-of-separation
b) Radar scale is based on time to loss-of-separation with traffic and their direction bearing
